By engaging with Bright SEN Advice and Support, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These are designed to ensure clarity, fairness, and a respectful working relationship.

Services

Bright SEN Advice and Support provides independent advice, guidance, and support to families navigating the UK Special Educational Needs (SEN) system. Services may include:

     

      • Ask Me Anything calls

      • Bespoke support packages

      • Written advice and documentation reviews

      • Strategic guidance on EHCPs, school placements, and transitions  
      • 1:1 Coaching and tutoring with children and young people

    Services may be delivered remotely or in person, depending on availability and the nature of the support required.

    Safe Working Practices

    For any face-to-face meetings, we prioritise safety, professionalism, and comfort for all parties. Meetings will take place in appropriate public or professional settings – such as libraries, community centres, or school premises – and will be arranged with mutual agreement.

    We do not conduct home visits or private meetings in residential settings.

    Payment Terms

       

        • Payment is required, in full, prior to the commencement of any service.

        • Ask me anything calls should be paid on booking

        • For further work, invoices will be issued upon booking, and payment confirms your appointment or project start date.

        • We reserve the right to withhold services if payment is not received.

       

      Gift Vouchers

      • Vouchers must be redeemed within 6 months of issue

      • Vouchers are non‑exchangeable and non‑refundable

      • One voucher entitles the holder to a single service as detailed on the voucher 

      • Calls must be booked in advance via email or the booking link provided

      • If the recipient needs to reschedule, at least 24 hours’ notice is required

      • Vouchers cannot be used for formal advocacy, report writing or ongoing casework

      Cancellations and Rescheduling

      We understand that circumstances can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule:

         

          • Please provide as much notice as possible – ideally at least 48 hours.

          • Appointments will be re-arranged subject to availability.

          • Missed appointments without notice may not be rescheduled or refunded.

        We aim to be flexible and fair, and appreciate your understanding.

        Response times

        We aim to respond to enquiries with 5 working days. Notification will be given when Bright SEN is closed for holiday periods.

        Respectful Conduct

        We are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and professional service. We ask that all clients:

           

            • Treat staff with courtesy and respect

            • Communicate openly and honestly

            • Refrain from any form of abuse, mistreatment, or harassment

          We reserve the right to terminate services without refund in cases of inappropriate behaviour.

          Honest and Ethical Practice

          Bright SEN Advice and Support operates with integrity, transparency, and evidence-based practice. We will never recommend a course of action that we believe to be unethical, misleading, or unsupported by current guidance or legislation.

          Our advice is grounded in professional experience, legal knowledge, and a commitment to doing what’s right for each individual child and family.

          Confidentiality

          All personal information shared with us is treated confidentially and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We will never share your data without consent unless required by law or safeguarding obligations.

          Limitation of Liability

          While we strive to provide accurate, up-to-date advice, Bright SEN Advice and Support cannot guarantee specific outcomes (e.g. EHCP approvals or school placements). Our role is to guide and support – final decisions rest with local authorities and other external bodies.
